Our training officers for fitted interiors installation – Rachael, Darren, and Jay – have been shortlisted at the BIFIS Awards in the Community Champion catergory!
We were thrilled to learn that our guys are finalists, and everyone at WEBS is so proud of them!
Senior training officer, Paul Cumberpatch, says:
“Seeing our training officers be shortlisted is very pleasing to WEBS – and to the training officers as well! It is a reflection on how they approach the apprenticeship scheme and their commitment to providing the best possible training.”
“It is clear to see their enthusiasm for passing their skills onto the next generation of installers.”
Both Darren and Rachael have been training at WEBS for a few years, with Jay joining the team earlier in 2026, where not only do they have impressive Distinction rates, but build close relationships with the apprentices they work with.
Samarah Dawson of WEBS, who put the three forward without them knowing, says:
“Our apprentices and employers of course deserve recognition for everything they do, but seeing the hard work of our training officers, and their commitment to developing the next generation day-in and day-out, I thought it would be nice to see the training officers get recognised too.”
Best of luck in the final – we’re all rooting for you!
The BIFIS Awards are taking place on Tuesday 23rd June, as part of the Installer Show at Birmingham NEC. Find out more here: BIFIS Awards at InstallerSHOW 2026
